Rosthern RCMP – Theft Investigation

Rosthern RCMP are requesting assistance from the public in identifying two adult male suspects in relation to an ongoing theft investigation.

On Friday, February 23 2018, at approximately 2:00 p.m. Rosthern RCMP responded to a complaint of a theft at a business located just off the #11 Highway at Hague, SK.

Two adult males reportedly entered the premises. One diverted the attention of staff, while the other entered the business office and took an undisclosed amount of money.

The two males are described as being in their late 50s or 60s. Both have stocky builds. Please see the attached photos. They may be driving a silver-coloured SUV.

The circumstances around the theft and the photos/descriptions of the two males share similarities with a number of other thefts reported at businesses in Saskatchewan and Alberta, including one in Outlook in August, 2017. More information can be found below.

Information on August 2017 Outlook Theft:

Outlook RCMP are investigating a theft that occurred at the Outlook SK AG Foods Store on August 21st 2017. Two older males entered the store around 7pm. One male went upstairs and entered the manager’s office and stole $500 cash from a till. The other male kept watch near the bottom of the stairs. The first male came back downstairs and the two of them left the store. Outlook RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying the two males in the below pictures.
