The City of Martensville is reminding residents and visitors that parking restrictions are in effect along portions of 16th Avenue near the new Vista Green apartment development in the Lake Vista neighbourhood.
Parking is prohibited on both the east and west sides of 16th Avenue within the areas marked by posted No Parking signs. The restrictions are intended to maintain safe and accessible roadways by ensuring adequate space for vehicle movements and improving visibility in the area.
The City has advised that it will begin monitoring the designated no-parking zones for enforcement and is asking motorists to pay attention to posted signage and avoid parking in restricted areas.
City officials will also review the location and length of the existing no-parking zones to determine whether adjustments may be necessary.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to cooperate with the restrictions to help maintain safe and efficient traffic flow throughout the neighbourhood.
