The Martensville Chiefs are getting ready for the 2026-27 hockey season and will be making a special community appearance at the upcoming Martensville A&W Show ‘n Shine.
Members of the Chiefs organization will be at the event on Saturday, September 12th from noon to 2:00pm, alongside their partners from Lakeview Insurance Brokers.
The team will have plenty for Chiefs fans to check out, including a signed Chiefs jersey giveaway, $100 Chiefs punch cards and team merchandise, with hoodies and hats available for purchase.
Fans will also have an opportunity to learn more about exclusive VIP packages being planned for the Chiefs’ 2026 Home Opener Tailgate Party, which will take place on Saturday, September 26th at the Martensville Sports Centre.
The Home Opener Tailgate Party will be headlined by Saskatchewan country artist Codie Prevost and will include live music, a beer garden, concession, bouncy castle and face painting. Doors for the tailgate party will open at 4:00pm, with the musical performance time to be announced.
The Chiefs are also partnering with the Saskatoon Prairie Blaze to offer an interactive hockey activity for children during the September 12th Show ‘n Shine, with additional details expected closer to the event.
The appearance will give local hockey fans a chance to connect with the Chiefs and build some excitement ahead of the team’s 2026-27 season and September 26th home opener.
