At approximately 7:00 a.m. on February 24 2018, Warman RCMP responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway #12 north of Martensville.
Upon arrival, members determined a southbound vehicle had struck a pedestrian in the driving lane. EMS declared the 18-year-old, male pedestrian deceased at the scene. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle reported no injuries and remained at the scene to cooperate fully with the investigation.
No charges are currently being considered in relation to this matter. The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the Provincial Coroner’s office.
