UPDATE:
At approximately 12:35 p.m. today, Martensville RCMP and Martensville Fire responded to a report of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Highways #12 and #305 where a camper unit had clipped the rear trailer of a dual-trailer semi.
As a result of the collision, the camper unit ended up on its side and on fire. A local passerby helped the driver and lone occupant of the camper unit to safety. Minor injuries were sustained and occupants were transported to hospital for observation.
The intersection was closed briefly while the fire was extinguished, but has since reopened. The investigation into this collision remains ongoing.

Traffic restrictions are currently in place at the intersection of Highway 12 and 305 due to a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 12:30pm on Monday, July 23rd. The collision involved a semi-trailer unit and an RV. Numerous emergency services were called to the scene and traffic is blocked in all directions as they clear the scene.
Currently there is no official word on injuries to those involved.
Motorists are advised to take alternate routes.
