Saskatoon Police Major Crime Investigators are asking for public assistance with information regarding the deceased person found following a house fire on July 6, 2018 in the 200 block of Avenue F North.
Police have identified the deceased as 37 year old Crystal Louise McFadyen. McFadyen was 8 months pregnant at the time of her death. An autopsy, involving the remains of McFadyen and her unborn child, was conducted on Monday by the Office of the Chief Coroner during which investigators were able to confirm that the McFayden’s death was a homicide.
McFadyen’s family had not heard from her since July 3, 2018. They reported her missing July 5, 2018. Investigators are looking to the public for any information on her whereabouts in recent days, prior to July 6, 2018.
