On Tuesday, October 4th, contractors for the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure will be completing maintenance and repair work on the Martensville overpass.
The work is scheduled to be completed within one day; however, if weather delays occur, the work may be completed on Wednesday, October 5th.
The estimated time for the work to take place will be from 7am to 7pm and during this time, there will be temporary traffic controls in place, with traffic being reduced to one lane of alternating traffic for the duration of the construction.
According to the City of Martensville, at no point during construction will the overpass be completely shut down to traffic; however due to the traffic restrictions, motorists can expect delays, so they recommend considering an alternate route if possible.
Motorists are asked to follow and signage that is in place to ensure the safety of all workers and other motorists in the area.
