Local Residents Presented with King Charles III Coronation Medals

Jamie Martens, the MLA for Martensville-Blairmore was presented with the King Charles III Coronation Medal at a ceremony in Saskatoon on January 9th, along with nine other local individuals. The medals were presented to each individual by Kelly Block, MP for Carlton Trail – Eagle Creek.

“What a compliment to be recognized for such a distinction,” Martens stated.

The other medals were presented to Beryl Bauer of Lake Lenore, Brian Brennan of Warman, Colin Crocker of Martensville, Gloria Barbara Ann deHaan of Biggar, Sheldon Maerz of Langham, Kevin Pulvermacher of Bruno, Terrence Schneider of Wakaw, Christopher Sokoloski of Humboldt and Michelle Woroniuk of Warman.

The King Charles III Coronation Medals are being presented to 30,000 Canadians that have made a significant contribution to Canada, or to a particular province, territory, region of, or community in Canada, or that have attained an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.
