U16 Team Sask Wins Gold

Selection camp was held at Mosiac Stadium in Regina June 22 and 23 for U16 Team Saskatchewan. After players were picked for Team Saskatchewan, they travelled to Kamloops July 13 to 19 for the U16 Western Challenge which consisted of Manitoba, BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan players.

Martensville’s Brody Nelson received offense MVP and Toryn Swystun-Bernes from Warman received defensive MVP after their first game. Former Maddogs and Royals players Dawson Lennea, Brody Nelson, Tristan Scott and Brody Dyck helped make up this U16 Team Saskatchewan winning the gold medal 21 to 7 against B.C. Way to go boys!
