One person was transported to hospital with minor injuries following a collision involving a bus and semi-trailer on the northbound off-ramp into Martensville on Wednesday evening.
The Martensville Fire Department (MFD) was dispatched to the collision at approximately 7:45pm on October 1st.
According to MFD, the bus was carrying approximately 25 passengers at the time of the collision, with initial reports indicating that some passengers had sustained minor injuries.
Fifteen members of the Martensville Fire Department responded to the scene, where crews established medical triage and traffic control.
Following assessment at the scene, one patient was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
MFD cleared the scene shortly before 9:00pm. The northbound off-ramp remained closed for several hours afterward while police conducted their investigation.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
Corman Park Police Service, Martensville/Warman RCMP and Medavie Health Services West also assisted at the scene.
