Martensville is ready to party like never before as it celebrates the 40th anniversary of Buster Days from June 6 to 8. With a high-energy mix of returning favorites and exciting new events, this milestone weekend promises something for everyone; from toddlers to teens, families to lifelong residents.
The Buster Days Committee has been working hard all winter long to bring the community its biggest celebration yet. Alongside classic events like the parade, fireworks, and family activities, 2025 introduces a range of brand-new attractions designed to wow attendees.
“We’re back baby!! We are so excited to bring the party with the 40th anniversary of Buster Days! The committee has been busy planning all winter long, and we cannot wait for you to see what we have in store for you and your family! Along with the classic events, there are quite a few new events and activities happening over the weekend,” Jamie McCulloch, City of Martensville Recreation Program Coordinator II, said.
This year’s lineup includes:
• FireFit Championships – Saturday & Sunday, 10 AM – 4 PM: Watch elite firefighters compete in high-intensity challenges.
• Von Houligan’s Circus – Saturday shows at 1 PM & 3 PM, Sunday at 1 PM: A whimsical throwback to big-top fun.
• Superheroes Assemble – Saturday, 1 PM – 3 PM: Meet your favorite heroes in person.
• Teddy Bear Clinic – Saturday, 8 AM – 10 AM: A gentle, kid-friendly introduction to health care.
• Music Bingo – Friday, 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM: A musical twist on a classic game night.
• Buster Boutique Indoor Market – Saturday & Sunday, 12 PM – 5 PM: Local vendors offering crafts, gifts, and treats.
• Sport & Pokémon Card Expo – Saturday, 12 PM – 5 PM: Featuring a meet & greet with the Martensville Chiefs.
• Princess Tea Party – Sunday, 1 PM – 3 PM: A magical gathering for little royals.
• The 40th Anniversary Cabaret – Hosted by the Martensville Kinettes was cancelled due to low number of ticket sales.
“This event has always been, and always will be, for the community, by the community,” said McCulloch. “We’re so grateful for the volunteers, groups, and local businesses who help make Buster Days possible year after year.”
