Location: Martensville City Hall Council Chambers, 37 Centennial Drive
Time: All meetings begin at 5 pm

City Facilities closed for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – September 30
September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a day to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, Survivors, their families, and communities.
It is also an opportunity for all of us to learn more about the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and to consider the role we each have in reconciliation.
City Facilities are closed on this day and there are several events taking place in the area that residents may wish to attend:
– Wanuskewin National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Gathering – September 30 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Wanuskewin will feature dance, drum and fiddle presentations, community art sessions, and speakers. Visit wanuskewin.ca for more information.
– Saskatoon Tribal Council’s Every Child Matters Powwow – September 29-30 – Grand entries will take place at 12:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Sept. 29 & 30. Visit sktc.sk.ca for more information.

Mirond Road Roadwork & Closure – September 22 – October 9, 2026
Roadwork related to townhome site servicing on Mirond Road began this week. Contractors are completing sanitary, water and storm servicing, including connections to existing infrastructure.
A portion of Mirond Road north of Main Street is closed and is expected to remain closed for approximately three weeks, weather and construction conditions permitting. Local access to businesses on Mirond Road is maintained through the “Local Traffic Only” barricade at the intersection of Mirond Road and Besnard Drive. Detour signage is also in place.
Regular garbage and recycling collection will continue during construction. Residents are asked to follow posted signage and use alternate routes where required.
