The registration deadline is quickly approaching for the inaugural Craven SPORT Services Splash, Pedal and Run Kids Triathlon, taking place in Martensville on Sunday, August 30th.
Designed for children ages 3-12, the event will provide young participants with the opportunity to experience a triathlon in a fun and welcoming environment. Depending on their age, participants will complete distances of up to a 25-metre swim, 600-metre bike ride and 500-metre run.
Registration is $15 per child, with all proceeds from the event going toward KidSport, an organization that helps remove financial barriers so children and youth can participate in organized sport.
The event is being organized by Craven SPORT Services, with support from local sponsors. Carter’s Counselling Services and Atlas Outdoors Cycle and Recreation are sponsoring post-race snacks and racer packages for participants.
Families interested in taking part have only a few days left to sign up, as the registration deadline is Friday, August 21st.
