Families with children entering Kindergarten in Martensville are encouraged to begin planning for the upcoming school year, as Prairie Spirit School Division prepares to welcome a new group of young learners.
Prairie Spirit schools emphasize a warm, supportive, and engaging start to education. Kindergarten programs focus on building early literacy, social skills, curiosity, and confidence, all within a caring classroom environment.
Martensville is home to three Prairie Spirit elementary schools: Lake Vista School – Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8, Venture Heights Elementary School – Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 and Valley Manor School – Kindergarten to Grade 8.
Healthy enrolment numbers are important to ensure enough space and resources for all students. School capacity, home address, and other factors may influence Kindergarten placement, so families are encouraged to register early.
Parents and caregivers can register online by visiting www.spiritsd.ca/register and select “Martensville Elementary Schools” from the dropdown menu.
Kindergarten Open Houses will be held at each school later this spring, giving families an opportunity to tour classrooms, meet teachers, and learn more about routines and expectations.
Families interested in French Immersion in a public-school setting have access to programs in Warman. Student transportation is provided from Martensville to École Warman Elementary School or Warman High School (for continuing students).
