The Martensville & District Kinsmen Club has been helping communities for many years and are always thinking of ways to come up with new ideas to help organizations in their districts of Martensville, Warman, Dalmeny and Langham.
Codie Prevost, an amazing local artist, along with the local Kinsmen Club, came up with the idea of doing a fundraising event at the Cork and Kettle in Warman on Saturday, June 19 from 5pm-7pm. Prevost, a four-time Canadian Country Music Association nominee and six-time Saskatchewan Country Music Association ‘Fans Choice Entertainer of the year’ award winner, along with special guest up-and-coming country artist, Carlyne Ray will be performing.
Prevost is no stranger to the music world sharing the stage with some of country’s top music performers such as Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks and Neal McCoy to name a few.
“The money from the fundraiser will go to helping our community when the need for our assistance is required. We have many organizations and community members that come to us for assistance on a regular basis,” said Martensville and District Kinsmen member Rob Spence.
Spence also noted that they will be following all COVID regulations and guidelines and taking all necessary precautions.
