The Martensville Business Expo is officially back! This long-awaited event kicks off on Friday, April 29th from 5pm-8pm and runs again on Saturday, April 30th from 10am-4pm. Be sure to stop by the Martensville Athletic Pavilion for a chance to reconnect with businesses and organizations from Martensville and surrounding communities.
The Expo, which is held in partnership between the Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce and the City of Martensville will feature 70 booths with a wide variety of businesses from large development groups, home based vendors and more, plus three Taste of Martensville Vendors, which include Vern’s Pizza, Clearcut Coffeehouse and Smokehaus Meats.
Vern’s Pizza will be serving up a variety of pizza choices by the slice, individually or as part of a combo with a drink and a bag of chips. Smokehaus will have smoked beef brisket sandwiches, which can be purchased alone, or as part of a meal with a drink, coleslaw and baked beans and Clearcut Coffeehouse will have coffee and a large variety of baked treats.
If you choose to indulge in multiple treats, or decide to do some shopping while at the Expo, there will be an ATM on site.
As an added bonus, the entertainment stage will be packed with talent throughout the event including musicians, and demonstrations from dance and cheer clubs.
Expo organizer Darla McLean added that, “Visitors should prepare to be amazed on Saturday between 1pm and 3pm as Clinton James (Magic Man) will be roaming though the crowd demonstrating some mind-blowing magic.”
If you plan to attend the Expo on Saturday morning, be sure to go hungry as the Martensville & District Kinsmen Club will be hosting a pancake breakfast by donation from 8am-10am in the Martensville High School lobby, located next to the MAP entrance.
McLean noted that there is also a lounge available throughout the entire Expo in the multipurpose room of the MAP, which will include a bar hosted by the Kinsmen Club. Music will be provided by DJ Josh Hamm on Friday evening as well.
Race fans will also have a chance to get an up-close look at some of Saskatoon Stock Car Racing Association’s cars which will be on display in front of the MAP.
There will be a $2 admission to attend the event, which will include a door prize ballot for a chance to win a variety of prizes such as; Saskatoon Blades ticket packages (sponsored by the Saskatoon Blades), Landmark Cinema Movie and Treats packages (sponsored by CTV), Rattlers Basketball Ticket package (sponsored by the Rattlers), a $200 Fanatics Gift Card (sponsored by Lakeview Insurance) and the grand prize of a $500 Local Gift Card from the Prairie Sky Chamber of Commerce that can be redeemed at participating businesses in Martensville and Warman.
