Since June 11, you may have noticed a new addition outside the Martensville A&W. The 2021 KidSport Playhouse was officially completed and moved to the location, with tickets now available for purchase at the Martensville A&W, or through the new online option, available at www.warmankidsport.ca.
Tickets are $5 each or three for $10.00 and can be purchased online using credit card or PayPal, in-person via cash, cheque or credit card or over the phone with credit card or E-transfer.
This year’s first prize award includes the incredible playhouse constructed by Marty Goertzen and students of Warman High School and is valued at $4670. Second prize is a $500 gift card to Cabelas and third prize consists of a $150 value gift basket.
The draw date will take place Saturday, September 18 at 3pm at the Martensville A&W and winners will be contacted by telephone.
Proceeds from this raffle will go towards Martensville and Warman KidSport to help providing funding for children under 18 whose families are unable to otherwise afford the registration costs to participate in sports and recreational programming.
Each year, this raffle, the brainchild of A&W owner Brian Buffin, helps provide thousands of dollars within the area to help children reap the benefits of organized sports. Since the inception of the playhouse raffle in 2016, a total of $43,954 has been provided to the local KidSport chapters.
