Culture Days in Martensville will be taking place throughout September 23 to October 26 with numerous activities available to participate in, all of which are free of charge.
This month-long celebration will provide an opportunity to learn more about different arts and culture, for all ages to enjoy.
Culture Days will kick off with a scavenger hunt through the Fun with Flags event, taking place in Kinsmen Park on September 23rd. Those participating in the self-led event can pick up an activity sheet at the Martensville Athletic Pavilion before heading out to search for ten flags and answer ten questions about each of the countries. Once complete, sheets can be submitted to the MAP for a chance to win a prize.
The next event will be Cardio Salsa, taking place on October 13th from 7pm-8pm and is open to the whole family to attend. Register for this event online at www.martensville.ca.
On October 23rd, visit the Martensville Sports Centre for an afternoon complete with public skating, music, as well as a dancing workshop and performance by Desert Beats Belly Dance. This will take place from 1pm-3pm and all are welcome to attend.
Learn a new skill on October 26th from 6pm-8pm in the Lake Vista Home Ec. Room with Glenda, who will be teaching the recipe, and tricks on how to make the best tasting cold rolls. Spots are limited, so if you are interested in participating, be sure to register at www.martensville.ca in advance.
