On Saturday, September 10th, one of the community’s favorite events will be returning to the streets of Martensville.
Beginning at 9am and running until noon, the public is invited to come to the Martensville A&W for a chance to meet the drivers and see the cars that will be participating in the annual Martensville A&W Valley Street Stock 100 race at Sutherland Automotive Speedway that evening.
From 11am-3pm, a section of Centennial Drive North will be a hub of activity as hundreds of cars will be on display for the A&W Show and Shine, an event that has continued to gain in popularity throughout the years. Traffic on Centennial Drive N. will be restricted for the duration of the car show and motorists are reminded to take extra care when driving in this area.
At 4pm, the speedway gates open, with the green flag dropping at 6:05pm. During intermission, fans will get a chance to see the A&W Root Bear, who will be handing out balloons for the kids, and there will be a sponsor victory lap taking place on the race track. The Martensville A&W Valley Street Stock 100 Feature Race will kick off at approximately 8:15pm. (Race times are approximate and subject to change)
Tickets for this event are $20 for adults, $10 for children aged 7-15 and free for ages 6 and under.
