Outdoor Aqua Fit Offers Challenging Workout

Martensville Aquatic Centre offers many classes throughout the summer, one of them being Aqua Fit.


This water exercise adds the component of water resistance and buoyancy which benefits participants by allowing easy mobility and less stress for those with arthritis, obesity, joint ailments, injury, and other conditions.


It is an aerobic, strength-training exercise that will activate muscle groups by using your own body weight.


Aqua Fit is for everyone with classes every Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm – 9pm. Cost is $6 per drop-in.

Martensville Athletic Pavillion (MAP) Closes for Maintenance

The Martensville Athletic Pavilion will be closed from August 8 – 28th for floor maintenance. If you have a membership, you will receive an extended three weeks to your existing membership.

Skate Martensville Registration Has Begun

Skate Martensville’s skating season has started with registration opening on Tuesday, August 2nd.


A busy season is being anticipated with a lot of skaters taking advantage of the CanSkate and STARSkate programs.
In addition to their regular skating sessions, they are hoping to offer Regional Interclub Competition and CanSkate Funfest to the list of exciting activities this year.


Plans for their year end Carnival are already underway with details to follow closer to the event.
