Prince Albert RCMP Ask For Public’s Help in Locating Escaped Prisoner

UPDATE: As of November 20th, Courtney Leanne Sinclair has been located and arrested without incident. Prince Albert RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.

On Nov. 18, 2019, 23-year-old Courtney Leanne Sinclair was arrested for a break-and-enter. While in custody, Sinclair complained of abdominal pain and was taken to hospital in Prince Albert by an RCMP officer as a precaution.

Sinclair was not restrained at the time she escaped from the hospital and fled to an unknown direction. None of the hospital employees reported to have seen her leave.

Prince Albert RCMP and Prince Albert Police Service made patrols around the hospital, but at this time, Sinclair is still at large. Police continue to be on the lookout for Sinclair.

Sinclair is described as being 5’5”, 180 lbs, with shoulder-length brown hair and hazel eyes.  She was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt, navy blue dock shoes and beige hospital socks.

Sinclair has a previous history of violent offences and should not be approached.
