After 18 gruelling days of their dog being taken away from them, 18-month-old Chiko, a French bulldog, was returned to the family.
The family was lured off their property by an unknown male subject, and were told they would have their dog returned to them. The male subject did not show up at the agreed location and when they returned to their home it had been ransacked and cash, jewelry and several items were taken.
However, 18 days later, the owner received a message from a burner phone saying they could pick up their dog at the Town Hall in Osler. The dog was found in a kennel outside.
The owners reached out to social media thanking everyone who sent messages, and everyone who shared the post of their missing dog which helped them get Chiko home safely.
