Two Vehicle Collision Results in Highway Detours:
Martensville Fire Department responded to a two vehicle collision involving a semi-trailer unit and a pick-up truck on Wednesday October 17th at 9:20 a.m. on Highway 12 and Twp Rd 380 (near Richie Bros Auction).
No extrication was required and drivers of both vehicles were not transported to hospital.
Martensville Fire Department remained on scene for clean up of the highway. Motorists were detoured to the Highway 12 Service Road until highway was clear.
MFD Responds to Martensville House Fire:
Martensville Fire Department responded to a house fire on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at 7:49 pm at 114 1st Street South. Upon arrival smoke was showing from the roof area of the house. Damage was minor and limited to the roof area. Cause of fire determined to be attic fan.
