Final Call for Vendors: The Future of the 2025 Martensville Summer Market Depends on You

by Shanine Sealey

The Martensville Summer Market is planning for the 2025 season; however, as of May 2nd, the future of the market is at risk of cancellation due to a shortage of vendor registrations.

Each year, the Martensville Summer Market brings a variety of local artisans, farmers and small businesses to the community to showcase their products, which include an array of options including fresh produce, baked goods, handcrafted items and more. The market serves as a hub for community engagement, allowing residents to support local entrepreneurs and enjoy a lively shopping experience.

The market runs each Saturday from June 21 to September 27 from 10am to 1pm in the Corner Store parking lot at 301 Centennial Drive North.

For those interested in becoming vendors, the market welcomes a variety of participants, from artisans and crafters to food producers and growers. The vendor fee is $25 per week or $175 for the entire summer season.

The operators of the local market are putting out a final call to all artisans, crafters, bakers, growers and local producers, encouraging them to step forward to become a part of the Martensville Summer Market. Preference is given to full-time vendors, although a sufficient number of part-time participants may still allow the market to succeed.

To apply as a vendor or for more information, contact the Martensville Farmers Market via their Facebook page at facebook.com/Martensvillefarmersmarket or email martensvillemarket@gmail.com.

Let’s work together to keep the Martensville Summer Market alive in 2025! Spread the word, sign up, and support local!
