With summer also comes construction projects. Martensville residents will soon begin seeing work taking place throughout the community, with multiple beginning this week. As of Wednesday, July 21st, work will begin with concrete and swale repairs at Main Street and 8th Avenue South and 6th Street North and 8th Avenue North.
This work will result in closures and detours and the City asks residents to be mindful of crews and look for alternate routes in the three to four days it will take to complete these projects. Once concrete repairs are completed, the road will be re-opened until the contractors paving crew arrives, which is expected to be in early August.
Once a detailed schedule is received by the City, residents that are directly affected by construction will be notified.
