Bridge City Warmth Community Support is inviting residents to roll the dice for a good cause during its upcoming Vegas Night Fundraiser in Martensville.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 24th, from 7:00pm to 1:00am at the Martensville North Ridge Centre, located at 901 3rd Street North.
The evening will feature 15 Vegas-style gaming tables, live entertainment, a DJ and music, a magician, photo booth, charcuterie boards, dessert auction, silent auction, 50/50 and drinks.
Guests will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win a WestJet trip for two, while $10 shuttle rides will be available from Lawson Heights Mall.
Tickets are now available, with early bird pricing currently being offered. Organizers are encouraging those interested in attending to purchase tickets and gather their friends for a table before prices increase.
Proceeds from the evening will help Bridge City Warmth continue providing support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances throughout the community.
Bridge City Warmth (BCW) is a Saskatoon-based, non-religious, volunteer-run non-profit organization founded on the belief that nobody should be forgotten in their own community.
Each week volunteers distribute food, clothing, hygiene products, blankets, and other essential supplies to those in need. The organization also conducts street patrols, hosts free community barbecues and carries out other outreach initiatives, while partnering with organizations throughout the area.
BCW aims to meet people where they are and provide assistance with dignity and compassion, without requirements or expectations in return.
“We simply believe that everyone deserves kindness, respect and a helping hand when they need it most,” the organization stated.
The organization is powered by volunteers, donors and community members who share a desire to help their neighbours. “We just want to help where and when we can.”
