The Martensville-Warman Early Years Family Resource Centre is inviting local parents to help shape a new parenting program designed to provide support, connection, and encouragement through the realities of raising children.
The upcoming Nobody Is Perfect parenting program will offer a welcoming, judgment-free space where parents can come together to share experiences, discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and learn from one another.
Organizers say the program is built on a simple belief: there are no perfect parents, only parents doing their best.
The initiative will be facilitated by Abibat and Alexis, who are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where participants feel comfortable sharing their experiences and building connections with other parents in the community.
Unlike traditional parenting programs, Nobody Is Perfect is designed to be parent-led, allowing participants to help guide discussions and determine which topics are most relevant to their families.
Potential discussion topics may include managing stress, understanding child behaviour, balancing family responsibilities, self-care, and other issues that parents identify as important.
To ensure the program reflects the needs and interests of local families, the Martensville-Warman Early Years Family Resource Centre is asking parents to complete a brief interest survey. Feedback gathered through the survey will help organizers tailor the program content and create meaningful opportunities for discussion and support.
The program aims to foster community connections by bringing together parents who are navigating many of the same joys, challenges, and milestones of raising children.
Parents interested in participating are encouraged to complete the survey and share their ideas on what they would like to see included in the program.
