Martensville’s North Ridge Community Centre was “Red Hot” with ladies dressed in every shade and style of red, from beautiful cocktail and graduation style dresses, a red Montreal Canadians jersey, to a full table of ladies in red track suits, all were dressed to impress and enjoyed a “fun-raising” night out with fabulous friends, games, prizes and a night of dancing!
Over 150 were in attendance for the third annual Ladies Night event that was put on by the Martensville & District Kinettes Club. Funds raised from this event will be put back into the community, as well as a portion of the funds raised will be directed to the Martensville and District Kinettes Club Teacher’s Fund.
The North Ridge Community Centre, kindly provided by the City of Martensville, was decorated in “Paint the Town Red” theme from paint can décor on the tables to a red-carpet entrance and red lighting to match! When guests arrived at the event, they had the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 50/50 draw and a wide range of raffle prizes, as well as begin bidding on many amazing silent auction items before being treated to a delicious supper and delightful desserts once again provided by the Meal Sponsor, PickNic’s Catering.
Following the meal, MC’s Alex, Carson & Wyatt, owners of Cones in Martensville, kept the crowd entertained with a short program that included two live auction items, a game of Heads or Tails and a quick game of “What’s on your phones?”. The dance followed with DJ services provided by the Music Sponsor, Jason White.
The local Kinettes extended their sincere gratitude to their two “Red Hot” sponsors, Infinity Salon and Spa and The Caesar Mill, whose support played a key role in the event’s success. They also recognized the many businesses and individuals from Martensville, Warman, Saskatoon, and surrounding areas who contributed through in-kind and monetary donations, helping make the evening possible.
