On June 13, 2025, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Warman RCMP received a report of an assault with a weapon at a business on the 200 block of Centennial Drive North in Martensville, SK.
Officers responded immediately and located an adult male victim with injuries consistent with stab wounds. Officers provided first aid. EMS attended and transported the victim to hospital with injuries described as serious, but non-life-threatening. Officers learned a second victim, a male youth, had been physically assaulted (he did not sustain stabbing injuries) and had already been transported to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Initial investigation determined two suspects – identified as an adult male and youth male – had entered the business and a physical altercation took place between them and the two victims. Investigators determined this incident was not random in nature.
The male youth suspect was arrested by Warman RCMP at hospital as he had been injured during the physical altercation. The adult male was arrested by Warman RCMP at a residence in Martensville.
A third male youth was arrested at a gathering in Martensville in relation to this investigation – he was released without charges.
