Warman RCMP and Saskatoon Integrated Crime Reduction Team Conduct Significant Cocaine Seizure

Officers of the Saskatoon Integrated Crime Reduction Team (ICRT) with the assistance of the Warman RCMP have concluded a three-week investigation in the cocaine trafficking activities of a 23-year-old male from Warman, SK.

On June 25, 2020, a traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of Pebble Beach Blvd where the 23-year-old male was taken into custody without incident. A search warrant was executed on his residence located in the 500 block of Snead Lane in Warman as well as on three vehicles.

Investigators seized approximately 9.5 ounces of cocaine packaged for distribution as well as approximately $14,000 cash, packaging material consistent with cocaine trafficking and three vehicles.

Ashton Kulcsar has been charged with the following offences:

  • Trafficking a controlled substance (cocaine)
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine)
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000

Kulcsar has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on Monday, June 29, 2020.

ICRT is funded by the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing. ICRT is an investigative body comprised of personnel from partner agencies from the Saskatoon Police Service and the RCMP ‘F’ Division.
