Wag hosted a Grand Re-Opening of their well-regarded facility for dogs and their families on Saturday, May 31st.
Those in attendance got to meet local pet vendors, as well as adoptable dogs from New Hope Dog Rescue, and enjoy swag bags for pups to go home with treats!
Due to increasing demand and a daily waitlist, the Wag team determined that an expansion was necessary. Their new facility is meticulously designed to include all the elements they envisioned: designated check-in/check-out areas, enlarged play zones, VIP (Very Important Pup) suites, a room with calming scents, and a cutting-edge air exchange and air conditioning system.
The 10,000 square foot building offers doggy daycare, overnight boarding, and soon, private park rentals and community social times. They have created an indoor-outdoor environment where dogs can stay active and safe year-round, thanks to a strong foundation of knowledge and community spirit.
“Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the grand opening. It was absolutely incredible! There was one point that I looked across and just saw dogs smiling and soooo many people and it made my heart so happy. We ran out of swag bags, and I saw lots of very lucky puppers going home with treats. The Wag community is truly amazing, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you,” stated owner Kyla on Facebook.
Wag is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 7am to 6pm with extended evening care from 7pm to 10pm to accommodate busy families and shift workers.
They are located at 910, 8th Street South (down the road from The Scrub Pet & Car Wash).
