The Martensville Fire Department (MFD), alongside Medavie Health Services West and STARS Air Ambulance, responded to a medical emergency in Martensville on Sunday, October 25th.
At approximately 6:42pm, MFD was dispatched to an in-city medical emergency, with STARS Air Ambulance pre-alerted due to the nature of the incident.
Firefighters were the first to arrive on scene, followed by personnel from Medavie Health Services West.
STARS Air Ambulance subsequently arrived in the community, landing on the west side of Martensville. However, following an assessment of the situation, it was determined that air transport was not required.
The patient was transported to hospital by ground ambulance through Medavie Health Services West.
