Saskatoon Police Look For Public Assistance in Locating Vehicle Suspected in Fatal Hit and Run

On May 10, the Saskatoon Police Service responded to a call regarding a hit and run accident that had occurred on the 3200 block of 33rd Street West.

Police were informed that someone had been injured and upon arrival, located a female that had severe life-threatening injuries. Medavie Health Services and the Saskatoon Fire Department attended to the scene and performed life-saving measures; however, the female succumbed to her injuries.

A Collision Analyst was called to the scene to investigate and following police investigation, an update was made on May 17, with police seeking assistance from the public in locating a vehicle that is believed to have been involved in the fatal collision.

Police are seeking a blue, 2007, Jeep Compass. The vehicle may have an Alberta licence plate on it and is likely to have visible front-end damage. The back window may be missing and covered with plastic.
