Sydney and Brooklyn Rowley from Martensville, have recently signed with the Red Deer Queens for the 2019-2020 season. Red Deer is part of the Alberta College Athletic Conference (ACAC), and are in a league with teams like NAIT, SAIT and Olds College.
Sydney and Brooklyn played their minor hockey in Martensville with the Marauders up until Bantam. They moved to the Comets for three years and are presently playing with the AAA North Battleford Sharks for the past two years. Both girls are in the top four in points for the Sharks.
The girls are excited that they have an opportunity to continue playing hockey while pursuing an education. They are registered in the Education program at Red Deer College. Congratulations to Brooklyn and Sydney Rowley.
