Police Look for Help Identifying Suspect

The Saskatoon Police Service is sharing a news release and composite sketch on behalf of Wood Buffalo RCMP in Alberta. There is information that suggests the suspect may be in the Saskatoon area.

Wood Buffalo RCMP request assistance to identify a suspect

Fort McMurray, Alberta – Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a complaint of an assault that occurred in the 8000 block on Gordon Avenue, downtown in Fort McMurray, on November 25, 2017 between approximately 1000 – 1130 hours. On police arrival an adult female victim reported an alleged sexual offence which occurred in her residence. The victim did not know the male suspect, however, the suspect had been invited into the victim’s residence, and there were no signs of forced entry. The RCMP do not believe this was a random act. The victim has been able to provide a recollection of the suspect’s features to an RCMP artist in order to create the attached sketch.

Suspect description:
• Caucasian male
• May be approx. 27-30 years old
• 5’5” to 5”8” cm tall
• Short med-dark hair, combed back
• Muscular build
• Clean shaven
• Dirty sneakers
