It was another busy weekend for the Martensville Curling Club as they hosted Mixed Provincials from March 12th -15th.
A total of 13 teams competed in the tournament and after an incredible weekend of competition, team Hartung with the Highland Curling Club came out on top and has earned the right to represent Saskatchewan at the 2026 Canadian Mixed Curling Championships early next season.

The U20 Mixed Doubles Provincials was hosted by North Battleford at the Twin Rivers Curling Club March 12th – 15th. Melissa Remeshylo and Dylan Derkson of Team Remeshylo/Derksen coached by Scott Remeshylo, represented the Martensville Curling Club and went undefeated to win the tournament. They will now represent Saskatchewan at the 2027 Canada Winter Games in Québec City from February 27th to March 1th4, 2027. This will be Remeshylo’s second appearance at the Canada Winter Games.
“To go undefeated and end up on top among these teams is an incredible feat to accomplish. The competition and skill displayed by all teams at this event is truly amazing to see and a testament to the amount of work that it takes to get here,” said Remeshylo in a social media post.
“I am so proud to have the opportunity to represent Saskatchewan at my second appearance of the Canada winter games next winter in Quebec city!”

This will be the 60th anniversary of the inaugural 1967 Games.
