Meet Your Fire Department

In this week’s get to know your firefighter, MFD would like to introduce Michael Gawletz. Michael is currently working on his third year with the department as a firefighter and first responder. Michael has shown an eagerness to learn and has taken several opportunities to take extra training offered to him. Michael’s favourite part about MFD is the fun, yet intense training, the camaraderie, and playing a major role in helping his community. Outside MFD, Michael is no stranger to the public service as he works as a Deputy Sheriff with the Province of Saskatchewan. In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with family, gardening, camping, and cooking smoked meats.
