Six players from Martensville, who are also former Maddogs players, made their way to Langley, B.C. to compete in the Western U-16 Challenge, which kicked off on Sunday, July 3rd. Teams from across the four western provinces go head-to-head in this tournament.
Team Saskatchewan is going into this as defending champions and started things off on track after a 49-23 win over Manitoba.
The next Saskatchewan game will be for the gold medal where they take on British Columbia at 7pm. All games can be watched through the Football Canada YouTube channels.
