The Provincial Girls Curlsask U20 tournament took place in Swift Current on February 28 and 29. Team Semeniuk, an under-18 team, defeated Team Simpson from Regina-Highland to earn the championship title. Lindsay Miller from Martensville is a member of Team Semeniuk and is now headed to Sudbury to represent Saskatchewan at U20 Canadian Championships on March 23rd.
Miller grew up through the Martensville Curling Club and has established herself as an elite 17-year-old curler. She also skips the Martensville Royals High School team.
Congratulations to Team Snow who defeated Team Robinson from Nutana-Saskatoon securing the U20 Men’s title. Dominic Barlow, who also competes in the Tuesday league in Martensville, will join Team Snow in representing at Nationals.
