Hollywood Comes to the Ice at Skate Martensville’s Annual Ice Show

Skate Martensville is preparing to roll out the red carpet as the club gets ready for its upcoming “Hollywood Stars on Ice” ice show, set to take place on Sunday, March 29th at 2:00pm at the Martensville Recreation Centre.
The annual show will feature local skating talent performing routines inspired by the glamour and excitement of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Audiences can expect a fun and entertaining afternoon showcasing the hard work and creativity of skaters from across the club.
Performances will include skaters from a variety of Skate Martensville programs, including CanSkate, STARSkate, STAR 4 and 8 Synchro Teams, as well as Adult II and III Synchro Teams. Each group will bring their own Hollywood-inspired routines to the ice, highlighting the skills they have been developing throughout the season.
In addition to the performances, the event will include a 50/50 draw, raffle prizes, and flowers available for purchase, giving spectators a chance to celebrate their favourite skaters after the show. Tickets will be available in advance for $10, while tickets purchased at the door will be $15 for adults and $10 for youth ages 6–12. Children five and under can attend for free. Organizers note that tickets and event purchases are cash only.
Leading up to the ice show, Skate Martensville has also announced that registration is now open for its Spring Ice program. The program will offer both Open Sessions and Synchro Sessions for PreSTAR, STARSkate, and Adult skaters, and all skaters registered with Skate Canada are welcome to attend.
