On Friday, Dec. 21st at approximately 6:40 p.m. members from RCMP Warman Detachment responded to a complaint of a head-on two vehicle motor vehicle collision on highway #305 and highway #11 near Warman, Saskatchewan.

A white half-ton truck was travelling along highway #305 when it was struck by a blue half ton truck. There were three occupants in the white truck. Two were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. The third occupant of that truck, an 11-year-old girl, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The adult male driver and lone occupant of the second truck was also transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.

A traffic collision analyst is at the scene conducting an investigation. #305 highway is presently closed but highway #11 is open with no traffic restrictions.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident in relation to the driver of the blue truck. Police are still investigating.
