Easter Hampers Provided to Families in Need

by Jocelyn Ottenbreit

The Martensville Food Pantry, with the help of donors, Martensville & Area Lions Club, and volunteers, were able to make up 51 Easter hampers this year to give to those in need over the holiday.
“Thank you to the Martensville & Area Lions Club for donating the chocolate bunnies for our Easter Dinner Hampers! We appreciate your support throughout the years,” they stated via social media.
According to Linda Ward, a volunteer for the Martensville Food Pantry, some things they are looking for to fill their pantry again are canned veggies and fruit, children’s fruit cups, and granola bars.
The Martensville Food Pantry is located in the Civic Centre at 66 Main Street, Room 2. Watch for more information about other events on their Facebook page.
