The Martensville Fire Department took a moment this past week to honour one of their members. On Wednesday, January 5th, the MFD celebrated Captain Norm Hydamacka and his 20 years of service to our local fire department. Congratulations Captain Hydamacka and thank you for all of your years of dedication to this community.
With the recent snowfall, the MFD also asked that residents within Martensville help keep hydrants clear of snow and debris.
“Keeping hydrants clear is essential in case of an emergency. Our firefighters need to access the water supply quickly when responding to calls in order to serve the community as efficiently as possible,” the MFD stated.
