Turtleford RCMP are currently on-scene at Turtle Lake near Kopps Cove, searching for a missing 15 year-old male who had fallen from a boat into the water yesterday and did not resurface. The other passengers on the boat were uninjured.
The RCMP continue to search with assistance from Ministry of Environment officials and the Provincial Protection and Response Team. The RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team (URT) is also being utilized in the search.
The public and media is asked to stay clear of the area and allow emergency personnel to perform their duties.
