The athletes at Tumblers Gymnastics club have been busy in recent weeks.  In March they showcased their skills at the City of Martensville’s Variety night.  This was a good chance to rehearse their performance before the Northern Gala held in Warman on March 24th.  The Special Olympic and the competitive teams performed at both events.

April 6-8 competitive athletes attended the Can-Am Gymnastics Personal Best Competition.  The Junior Olympic (JO) Levels 1 and 2 competed Friday and earned one gold medal, four silver and one bronze.  The JO 3 athletes competed Saturday and Sunday.  Tumblers gymnasts placed on the bars, vault and floor and two placed in the All Around.  Four of the JO 3 athletes received medals for achieving their personal best score of the 2018 competitive season.

Next up for Tumblers athletes is the “Be Incredible” competition in Moose Jaw, April 21 & 22 and then Provincials in Prince Albert May 11-13.  Three of the JO 3 level athletes have qualified for Provincials this year.
