Two people were taken to hospital for treatment from suspected overdoses last night.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., March 14, 2018, Police were called to a residence in the 200 block of Heritage Way after a woman was reported to be suffering from a suspected overdose. She was transported to hospital for treatment.
A few hours later, at approximately 1:30 a.m., March 15, 2018, Police were called back to the same residence for a report of a male suffering from a suspected overdose. An SPS Officer administered Naloxone and the male was transported to hospital for treatment where he remains.
The condition of both victims is not known at this time.
It is also not yet known if these incidents are related to the overdoses from last weekend, but Police are continuing to investigate both.
Police continue to warn members of the public that any drug taken that has not been prescribed by a doctor or dispensed by a pharmacist, poses a very serious risk of injury or death.
