During the June 8th City of Martensville Committee of the Whole meeting, Staff Sergeant Barry Thomas provided an update to Council for the month of May. In this update, Thomas explained that an incident took place on May 30th which involved a 12-year-old that stole a van from Ranch Ehrlo. A brief pursuit took place within Martensville that lasted approximately six minutes. The pursuit ended in the parking lot near Mark’s Work Warehouse after members were able to stop the vehicle by boxing it in. There no injuries sustained; however, two police vehicles received minor damage.
