The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating a number over drug overdoses which have occurred in the city this morning.
Saskatoon Police, along with Medavie Health Services and the Saskatoon Fire Department have responded to three locations where six people were suffering from the effects of apparent illicit drug overdoses. The men and women all received medical treatment however the conditions of all involved are not known at this point. Possible connections between the incidents are also being investigated.
The SPS is warning members of the public that any drug taken with has not been prescribed by a doctor or dispensed by a pharmacist, poses a very serious risk of injury or death.
