New contract for Prairie Spirit’s CUPE staff members

Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) members in Prairie Spirit School Division have a new contract. The new contract was signed by the Prairie Spirit Board of Education and CUPE leadership on June 19, 2023.

The contract is retroactive to September 1, 2022, and in effect until August 31, 2025. As a result of the new contract, CUPE support staff will receive a minimum increase of 7.5% over three years, with some employee groups receiving a larger percentage as the result of market adjustments.
