The Martensville Peewee AA hockey team, coached by Chris Mathies, played in the Saskatoon Challenge Cup at the Gemini this past weekend. It was a 32 team tournament with teams from Minot, Yellowknife, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Martensville was undefeated after six games and won the final 6-5 against the West Central Wheat Kings in double overtime! Kazden Mathies scored the winning goal and Corban Almen made the all-star team.
